RapidContain AB develops, manufactures, markets and sells products and systems within environmental technology, safety and spill management. The company’s activities also include consultancy services, service, training, technical development and digital solutions.
2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of rapidcontain.se and to enquiries, quotations, orders and purchases from RapidContain AB.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and a written quotation or order confirmation, the quotation or order confirmation shall take precedence.
3. Product Information
RapidContain strives to ensure that all information, images and product descriptions on the website are accurate. However, we reserve the right to correct typographical errors, technical errors, price changes and minor differences between images and the delivered product.
The Oil Recovery Bag is a portable and reusable product designed to contain and collect spills. The product weighs approximately 1.4 kg and has a capacity of up to 50 litres.
4. Enquiries and Orders
An enquiry submitted through the website, by telephone or by email is not binding.
A binding agreement is formed only when RapidContain AB has confirmed the order in writing through an order confirmation or when a separate agreement has been signed.
RapidContain AB reserves the right to reject an order in cases including incorrect customer information, delivery obstacles or suspected unauthorised use.
5. Prices and Payment
Prices are stated in the quotation or order confirmation.
Unless otherwise stated, prices for business customers exclude VAT, shipping, customs duties and other charges.
Payment terms are stated on the invoice, quotation or order confirmation. In the event of late payment, statutory interest and fees may be charged.
6. Delivery
The delivery method, delivery cost and estimated delivery time are stated in the quotation or order confirmation.
Delivery times are estimates unless they have explicitly been confirmed as binding.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all delivery and contact details provided are accurate.
7. Inspection and Complaints
The customer must inspect the product as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Transport damage, missing products or other defects must be reported to RapidContain AB in writing without undue delay. The complaint should include the order number, a description of the defect and photographs.
In the event of an approved complaint, RapidContain AB shall have the right, as a first remedy, to repair the product, correct the defect or supply a replacement product.
8. Use and Safety
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the product is suitable for its intended purpose and is used in accordance with RapidContain’s instructions.
The customer must comply with all applicable regulations and safety requirements relating to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, chemical handling, transport and waste management.
The product must not be used with substances that may damage the material or create a safety risk. The customer is responsible for verifying the product’s suitability and chemical compatibility before use.
9. Hazardous Waste
A product that has been used to collect oil, chemicals or other pollutants may contain hazardous waste.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the collected contents and any contaminated equipment are stored, transported and disposed of in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
10. Returns and Right of Withdrawal
Business customers do not have a general right to return a non-defective product without prior written approval from RapidContain AB.
Used, contaminated, custom-made or specially adapted products are normally not accepted for return.
Consumers who purchase a product at a distance normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable consumer legislation. Exceptions may apply to custom-made or specially adapted products.
11. Liability
RapidContain AB is not liable for damage caused by:
incorrect use,
use contrary to instructions,
use with unsuitable substances,
insufficient cleaning or maintenance,
improper storage,
modifications or repairs not approved by RapidContain AB.
For business customers, RapidContain AB shall not be liable for indirect losses such as loss of production, loss of profit, operational disruption or loss of business opportunities.
This limitation of liability does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
Texts, images, videos, drawings, product designs, trademarks, logos and other material on rapidcontain.se belong to RapidContain AB or its licensors.
The material may not be copied, modified, published or used commercially without prior written permission.
13. Personal Data and Cookies
RapidContain AB processes personal data in order to manage contact enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries and customer relationships.

14. Force Majeure
RapidContain AB shall not be liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control, including war, natural disasters, government decisions, strikes, transport disruptions or shortages of materials.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swedish law.
Disputes shall primarily be resolved through dialogue between the customer and RapidContain AB.
Disputes involving business customers shall be settled by a Swedish court, with Gothenburg District Court as the court of first instance.
Consumers may also refer a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, ARN.
